REPORTING ANIMAL CRUELTY

How to Report Cruelty

Importantly, it needs to be firsthand, witness information. Gather as much information as possible, but do not put yourself in danger. Do not enter private property without permission and be cautious around animals that may be frightened or in pain.

Information to provide:

  • What you observed, dates, approximate times
  • Photos of the animals, the location and surrounding area
  • If available, names and contact information of other people who have firsthand information on the situation.

After reporting the cruelty, please keep a record of exactly who you spoke with, the date of contact/s, what documents you provided, and follow up if you do not receive a response. Keep calling. Once a case if filed, if there is no response or change in situation, please click here to complete a cruelty report.
