Saving Sammy 10/29/2012
We received a call around 6:30PM 10/29/2012 during the beginning of the storm on a hurt kitten at a 7-11 in Islip. Matthew rushed out of the house and drove 45 minutes to save him. When he got home with the kitten, he realized that Sammy needed urgent medical attention. He rushed Sammy to the Riverhead ER as the storm got work for emergency medical treatment. Matthew arrived back home with Sammy all bandaged up, and the next day Rocky Point Animal Hospital opened their doors for us even though they were closed to check on Sammy's wounds. Sammy is still at Rocky Point Animal Hospital recovering from his injuries.
